Notes on back say "Christine Angus, (1st Mrs. Sickert), sung as she stitched" and "Sickert painted S.G. in Warren St., used her studio in Camden St."; two ladies sit at table, sewing, only half of left figure seen from rear, with back to chest of drawers in foreground, right figure wears long skirt and is seated on ornate stool, fireplace in right distance.
