Judith Rowe grew up and began her pottery training in Winchcombe, Gloucestershire. She went onto Farnham Art College for her degree, where she met and lived and worked with Rupert Spira at Froyle Pottery, Hampshire.
Following this, she built her own studio on Eel Pie Island in the Thames at Twickenham, where she developed her own range of Earthenware pottery over a decade.
In 2002 she moved to Hastings, setting up a small production workshop and a shop showcasing local makers’ called ‘Made in Hastings’.
Judith continues to love making functional pots that reflect the mystery and beauty of the landscape around us.
