Katie Minoprio

I use a strong combination of intense colour and texture to build paintings by layer into an emotive whole, with the aim of engaging the viewer with nature and a desire to preserve the world in which we live. In my own paintings I try to merge, in a contemporary sense, something about locations and places in the world that I have had the experience of visiting, or feel there’s an urgency to preserve.
